Nepal, The Himalayas Adventure, Gorpani & Poonhil 6 days trek

Yes, I manage to do this one also.
That is why I thank The Lord everyday for it; even not so young now and overweight manage to complete the track!
It is quite difficult, more than everyone there was expecting. My advice is that if you want to this do it when you are fit and not so old, I think I was the grandma of the trek!

The way is steep and we went in  the beginning of monsoon season so it was HOT & it tends to rain in afternoon altho this wasn't so bad, we were in the middle of June to beginning of July.

Kathmandu was quite dusty because of road works, noisy and a lot of traffic.  We took the bus to Pokhara and is a long ride & we went in a express one, is more expensive but at least you have a nice trip w/ac and you stop for a very nice buffet lunch that is include in the cost of the tickets, going was almost 7 hours coming back was almost 10! The traffic jam in the road was huge! we are planing to do Annapurna trek next year, First God, so we decide next time to take a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara so we dont lose 2 days only travelling by bus!

Pokhara is quite a beautiful place  to stay, more calm, clean & less noisy than Kathmandu, it have beautiful lakes and very nice shops!  The food is very good.  Have already made reviews in Trpadvisor.  Good hotels are quite cheap and clean also.

Now some pictures for you!
